2011 WIF PSA PRODUCTION PROGRAM FILM PSAs

down-syndrome-psaThe mission of the Down Syndrome Research Foundation is to stimulate biomedical research that will accelerate the development of treatments to significantly improve cognition, including memory, learning and speech, for individuals with Down syndrome so they can participate more successfully in school, lead more active and independent lives, and avoid the early onset of Alzheimer's Disease.

scb-logo-psa2Sarges Community Base provides physical, academic and social programs that teach today's youth basic life skills that enable them to feel capable and successful in their lives.  The organization also offers adult programming to encourage and sustain the parents of the children in Sarges Community Base youth programs.

scffaa-logo-psaThe Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of abused, abandoned and neglected children, and helping them become independent, successful adults.

The Agency provides quality homes for children of all ages, including teenage mothers with their babies and sibling groups.  It also provides for children who have developmental delays, behavioral and school difficulties.

 
wrhap-logo-psaThe Whittier Rio Hondo AIDS Project's mission is to minister to the needs of a community impacted by HIV/AIDS by providing support and understanding to individuals and families affected by the disease.

Services include healthcare, social services, case management, mental health care and policy advocacy. WRHAP educated youth and the community-at-large through programs aimed at the prevention of HIV/AIDS, and to provide safe haven at its Christopher Wahl Youth Center where all young people may come together to play, to learn and to grow in an atmosphere of mutual respect.

 etmla-logo-psaEducation Through Music--Los Angeles provides and promotes the integration of music into the curricula of disadvantaged schools to enhance students' academic performance and creative and general development.

ETM-LA believes every child deserves a well-rounded education: one that includes music.  ETM-LA utilizes a comprehensive program that incorporates music into every child's education, including those with special needs, ensuring high-quality instruction by qualified music teachers, providing ongoing training, and performing regular program assessments.
