Facilitated by Monte Merrick, a UCLA Extension screenwriting instructor, the Page-to-Screen workshop focuses on the process of adapting books for the screen. By examining well-known film adaptations, we discuss how filmmakers retain the essence of the original work while creating their own unique cinematic vision.
