VIOLA DAVIS, BONNIE HAMMER, CHLOË GRACE MORETZ AND CHRISTINA APPLEGATE
The Annual Benefit Gala will take place on Tuesday, June 12 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel
Los Angeles, CA, February 22, 2012…..Since 1977, Women In Film, Los Angeles has annually honored exemplary women in the entertainment industry; women who lead by example, who are creative, groundbreaking, and who excel at their chosen fields. This year’s Crystal + Lucy Awards® fundraising dinner, in support of WIF LA’s many educational and philanthropic programs and initiatives, is being held on Tuesday, June 12 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Today the President of Women In Film, Los Angeles, Cathy Schulman, proudly announced four honorees. Additional honorees are expected to be announced shortly. “The women we are honoring this year represent the best, the brightest and the bravest among us” said Schulman. “We are proud to celebrate their achievements and their contributions.” They are:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Park City, UT – January 24, 2012) … Women In Film, Los Angeles (WIF), the leading non-profit organization dedicated to women in the global entertainment industry, hosts its sixth annual filmmakers panel discussion and brunch event, presented by Lucasfilm Ltd., at the Sundance Film Festival. Yesterday, Women In Film and the Sundance Institute announced a collaboration to support career longevity for independent female filmmakers working in both narrative and documentary feature film. WIF is an Institute Associate of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and has maintained a strong presence at the festival for the past nine years. During this year’s panel event, Women In Film is once again proud to announce two very special award presentations, the first with support from the National Geographic All Roads Film Project.

THE WOMEN IN FILM FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES The 26th Annual Film Finishing Fund Recipients

LOS ANGELES, CA, September 30, 2011 – Today, Women In Film’s Finishing Fund co-chairs Betsy Pollock and Nancy Rae Stone announced the recipients of the Foundation’s 26th Annual finishing fund grant program. They were chosen from a total of 113 submissions, made up of 71 Documentaries (41 features and 30 shorts) and 41 Narrative Films (19 features and 22 shorts). Applications came from all over the United States and all corners of the world including Chile, Ireland, Romania, Sweden, Canada and the UK.
