WIF expanded its presence at the Sundance 2013 Film Festival this year.  We continued our popular WIF in Park City panel, this year titled, “Female Voices:  Women Who Dare” and launched an ambitious Diversity Initiative with the Sundance Institute.

The Diversity Initiative includes a Mentoring Program and a detailed study titled, “Exploring the Barriers and Opportunities for Independent Women Filmmakers”.

Our WIF in Park City panel on January 20th featured a spirited discussion of the issues facing women working in the ever changing media landscape and the distribution of $30,000 of cash and in-kind grants to filmmakers.
