After Tiller, winner of the Women In Film Documentary Grant at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival has gone on to win the Documentary Jury Award at the Sarasota Film Festival and Honorable Mention in the documentary competition fo the Nashville Film Festival.

Kalyanee Mam' s A River Changes Course has garnered a number of awards since our "Women Who Dare!" Sundance panel back in January.

Kalyanne's film won the Grand Jury Prize of World Cinema Documentary at Sundance in 2013.

Since then the documentary has won:

• The Human Rights Award at the River Run Festival
• The Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature at the Environmental
  Film Festival at Yale
• Selected as the opening night film of the season at the Film Society
  of Lincoln Center
• The Center for Documentary Studies Filmmaker Award at the Full
  Frame Documentary Film Festival
• The Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary Feature Atlanta Film Festival

WIF Foundation Trustees Chevonne O'Shaughnessy and Cindy Bond are releasing a new movie on the Hallmark Channel.  "The Confession" will premiere at 8pm  on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
