The WIFI Shorts Program is a celebration of filmmakers from all corners of the world, produced by the members of the Women In Film International Committee (WIFI). This year, for the 4th Annual Shorts Program, WIFI has partnered with the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles to showcase and celebrate the dynamic works of emerging and established Korean and Korean-American filmmakers.
We are currently seeking entries for exhibition this year program. The films can be about any topic, but at least one above-the-line member of the production team (writer, director, actor, producer, cinematographer, etc.) must be of Korean descent. This includes Korean-Americans.

“The Money Stone,” a new documentary feature, has received
the 2008 Roy W. Dean Los Angeles Video Grant. The grant is awarded annually by 
WIF congratulates members Nina Shaw and Ivy Kagan Bierman (pictured left to right) on making The Hollywood Reporter's "Power Lawyers 2010" issue last weekend. Nina is a partner at Del, Shaw, Moonves, Tanaka, Finkelstein, & Lezcano. Her client list includes such names as Jamie Foxx and Laurence Fishburne. Ivy is a partner at Loeb & Loeb. Her practice includes the representation of entertainment and related companies in labor, production, distribution, and technology.
