Every year, WIF works with the Fulfillment Fund, whose mission is to help promising, yet educationally underserved and economically disadvantaged students achieve higher education. WIF is currently accepting applications from companies who would like to hire Fulfillment Fund Interns for the summer.
WIF/Fulfillment Fund Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for college-age women from diversified backgrounds to work in the entertainment industry. The Fulfillment Fund is a non-profit organization that assists promising, but economically disadvantaged students from the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Fund’s outreach program focuses on mentoring, scholarships and college counseling.
The internships last for 8 weeks in the summer, enhanced by two days of training and weekly seminars. Since 2001, more than 100 have successfully participated in the program supported by such companies as Paramount Studios, Toyota Motor Sales, Video Center, CAA, Imagine Entertainment, Universal, William Morris Agency, Variety, and Twentieth Century Fox.
All inquiries and applications should be submitted directly to the Fulfillment Fund. Please visit their website at http://www.fulfillment.org for full details on Internship Program requirements.
