THE FOUNDER’S AWARD (“THE TICHI”)
The Founder’s Award was established in 1996 at the Lucy Awards and was first presented to Tichi Wilkerson Kassel. The award is given in recognition of distinguished service to Women In Film. “The Tichi” is presented to honor those who have consistently demonstrated their loyalty, professionalism, skill and heart to further the mission of Women In Film. “The Tichi” represents the best we can give in public service to our fellow members, to the entertainment industry and to the world.

THE PALTROW MENTORSHIP AWARD
The Paltrow Mentorship Award, in honor of the late director and great mentor Bruce Paltrow, is awarded to an entertainment industry professional, who in the course of their career, has shown and extraordinary commitment to mentoring and supporting the next generation of filmmakers and executives.

THE NORMA ZARKY HUMANITARIAN AWARD
Norma Zarky was a founding member of Women In Film. A renowned entertainment attorney and the first woman President of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, she was a tireless advocate of human rights and women’s issues. The Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award was established in 1979 and is presented to individuals who, like Ms. Zarky herself, have demonstrated enlightened support for the advancement of equal opportunity for all and devotion to the improvement of the human condition.

THE MARTINI SHOT MENTOR AWARD
On a film set, the last shot of the day is called the “Martini Shot.” The Award was launched in 1998 as the concluding event celebrating Women In Film’s 25th Anniversary year. The Martini Shot salutes and honors men who have the keen sense to recognize and acknowledge the talent and bright ideas of women in the entertainment industry and keep the doors open for their continuing achievement.
