WIF will celebrate its 35th Anniversary at the 2008 Crystal+Lucy Awards by honoring some of the most creative, productive and socially responsible individuals in our industry who lead by example. The gala dinner will be held on Tuesday, June 17 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The PSA for the International Myeloma Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life for bone marrow cancer patients, won a 2008 Platinum Best In Show Aurora Award. The spot was directed by WIF Board Member and PSA Production Program Chair Bonnie Spence.

Arlene Bogna took home a Silver Remi Award from the 41^st Houston International Film Festival for her PSA “Canvas”, produced for A Window Between Worlds, a charity which develops art programs for battered women and children.

The Rose Breast Cancer Society will honor Jarvee E. Hutcherson on Sunday, May 4th at the renowned Celebrity Center in Hollywood, California, 3PM. This year's theme is Mardi Gras and highlights the New Orleans flavor and fare while honoring community leaders, philanthropists, political leaders and patrons of the arts. Hutcherson, president of the Multicultural Motion Picture Association, is being honored for his many years of dedicated service and philanthropy with regard to arts organizations and by way of his contributions to the entertainment community with the production of Hollywood’s annual Diversity Awards of which he serves as Executive Producer.
